I GOT IT BACK/CAMO TDC/PIC ADDED
« on: January 06, 2006, 04:42:59 PM »
Sometime back I posted about having a custom camo job done to my .12ga TDC.  Well it's back.  I haven’t personally seen it yet as I am out of town working.  Several asked to see pictures when I got it back.  My wife e-mailed me some - it looks good to me.  Unfortunately, being out of town and away from my computer makes that difficult so, if someone is willing to post pics for me send me an e-mail address and I'll send a couple.

Thanks,
-S

This might work... Wife's not the greatest photographer, but she tries.

Looks pretty nice...Is that Realtree Xtra Brown or Grey?  Looks like Brown to me but what the heck do I know...I'm half color blind anyway.

That looks great!  Only thing, you may want to tie a string to it and then to your belt loop...if you set it down in the woods you may not find it.LOL  What a beauty.

Great looking job on the gun Narbel, Congratulations. But your wrong about one thing, your wife IS a good photographer. You owe her a big hug when you get home. She unwrapped your gun, then took photo's of it, and then sent them out for you? Heck you owe her dinner!!! Better tie a string to her as well as the gun, you don't want to lose either her or the gun, their both keepers!!!....<><.... :-D  :-D

Now you need a forcing cone job. A custom extended ported choke tube and a mercury recoil suppressor and you will have the record for the most any one has spent modifying an H&R. Dang it I shouldn't have revealed my plan.

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

I was wondering what a paint job like that would cost.

That is a good job. Even the hammer and trigger seem to be camo'd.
Looks good.

Dale

Its not a paint job , its a film that they lay on a chem. tank and slowly dip the gun in to it so that it forms around the gun . Here is a link to the people that did the work .

http://www.camoent.com/

If you go to the skin process link on their home page they show a vid of how its done .
