I frequent a local gun shop here in Texas and usually pick up a lot of information/tips about rifles and hunting from many of the other customers and the "regulars" that are in attendence on that particular day. The disscussions are usually a mix of things, and on this particular day I was involved in one disscussion while I was overhearing another. The overheard disscusion was about hunting in Africa and this man had in his hand what appeared to be some type of information/stat/handbook which I believed had information about the different types of animals and their bone structure. This information would be valuble, since being a North American hunter I know that the standard "aim behind the shoulder" shot would not be right for many of the plains game animals. Does anyone know about this particlar book/statbook? I think that this reference book also had space to record the stat/measurments of any of the game you were lucky enough to take. Unfortunately I was unable to meet this man and ask where he had obtain the book, so any help would be appreciated. I am planning my first trip in August of next year and hope to return the following year for the dangerous game. Thanks!
