Does anyone know of a source for purchasing a shootable Enfield jungle carbine in the original .303 cal?  Not interested in a .308.

True #5 Jungle Carbines were never militarily made in .308(7.62X51NATO).Gibbs Rifle Co. made some out of 2A and 2A1 Enfields. The true #5 was always .303 British caliber.
Sometimes Southern Ohio Guns has some listed for sale. You will have good luck finding one on Gunboards.com trader section or on one of the auction sites.

A day or two ago I received an email from AIM about some kind of #5 sale. I deleted the email, but you may want to check them out.

I've got one of the copies that were made from No4Mk1s and it shoots very good.
