do any of you use the 300 grain seirra speer point in your 44 mag's. i noticed that it has an OAL lengh on the box that say's 1.7** somthing. That seems really long for a 44 round. Will they work in a ruger or taurus rb. I havn't seen anyone talk about them yet.

I've shot them and I haven't found a 44 that they wouldn't fit in.  Even in a S&W.  An H&G 250 Keith has an OAL lengeth of 1.700".
Buy a few boxes and have a go at it.

I've used them quite a bit in Ruger Blackhawks and Redhawks, and had good success with them.

Been loading them in Rugers for years.  Good hard bullet that penetrates well.

I loaded them in a friends Red Hawk. They worked perfectly, and shot very well.

I shoot them in my Super Blackhawk. They have a hard core and thick jacket. Never had any problems with the overall length. About the same as a 320 hard cast. Sierra says it is not a good pick for deer but good for deep penetration on larger game.

I have loaded quite a few for my friend, and I used H 110 with magnum primers.  All he had to say was WOW.
