You guys seem to be shooting some HOT loads----I understand the BH in .45 Colt is stronger that the Ruger NEW Vaquero and that HOT loads can or will blow up a NEW Vaquero---Any truth to that?

Yes, the New Vaquero should only be used with standard level 45 Colt loads.

It is great to here that you have a shooter on your hands. I have yet to fire even one shot through my new SBH although I do have a couple hundred rds ready to go.
This gun is 35 days old and I don’t know if it will ever forgive me. Maybe I will just look at it and never shoot it  ;)
I am just back from a hospital stay. Doctor said I cant be eating tin cans & old license plates anymore because of Divercusomethingorother.

One of these days I will let you guys know how this .44 shoots. My .45’s have set the bar pretty high for it though. Lloyd…I ran the Dragon back trigger guard across the bench grinder, Is this good gunsmithing?  :o ;)

I have a Bisley SBH in 45 colt and would like to know if anyone knows if there are oversize gripes available for the Bisley frame. BTW it groups great with most any lead reload I put through it. Even had great groups with 200gr. SWC(acp standard) that were slightly roll crimped into the lead. Thanks

Good News!!
I just got a Ruger .45, but I have not yet had a chance to shoot it.  Over the years I've had 2 Super Blackhawks - 1 71/2 and 1 of those 10 inchers.  They came and went, but I like the looks of this one.  It'll be a couple of weeks before I have a chance to get to the range.
