I don't have either, but based on reports that I have heard, I'd go with the Mag. I've heard to many reports problems with the RUM cases in the Encore.

The Ultra's don't border they jump across it in big bounds, most of the custom makers are split on the 7mm STW. I don't think even VVC offers a Ultra in an encore.

Even the 7stw is too much :eek: I had one made and it almost killed me. It unlocked on firing, broke the stock and the scope hit me so hard it fractured my eye socket. If it had knocked me out I would have bled to death. Go with the win. Or better yet the .375 H&H. I am not impressed by the overbores and have went back to the 06 and a 45-120.

It was a factory TC barrel rechambered. The gunsmith checked it out and everything was ok. I sent the frame back and TC replaced it but no explanation. Encores are great guns but there are limits. If i want an overbore i would use one of my Hi-walls.
