308 Spanish Mausers
« on: May 20, 2003, 01:54:32 AM »
Anybody out there know where to get a replacement stock for one of these? Mine is just the standard small ring 95 mauser converted to 308 and it needs a new stock badly. The previous owner sawed this one off rather roughly... I don't mind if it is a sporter or military, just better than what I have.

The swede mauser stock fits the M1895 all I had to do is open up the top handguard rear site opening. I bought my swede stock from numrich gun parts the M96 is for long rifles and the m38 is for short rifles they come with all the hardware/metal.  It does leave two little open spots at the magazine trigger housing but its very small in the corners.  In the spot where the swede disc is I made a disc and just left it blank.  If you want a stock as close to the orginal wood this is it.
