I got my .22-6 mm Savage acouple of weeks ago. Real happy with it so far. I haven`t put it on a good solid bench to see what it will really do yet, by shot a 1/2 in 5 shot group at 100 with already, 4 of the 5 where in the low 3`s. The group was shot with 80 gr. Serria match bullets at 3,570 fps. I did shot the rifle in the monthly off hand rifle shoot at the club. Got 1 second, 1 4th, and finished 6th in the other 3 shoots. There was 23 shooters so I didn`t feel to bad, but the gun is to nose heavey to be a good off hand rifle. Hopefully by spring there will be several coyotes fall to it. I still need to find a final load the work up my elevation chart for 500 yrds and behond. Wind drift will be 1/2 of the best you can get from a .22-250, 15 in. at 500 yrds. with a 10 mph cross wind. Burns alot of powder for a .22 cal., but it shouves that heavy bullet pretty fast.
