savage pump action 30/30

Hi just bought a savage model 130B in 30/30. Planning to use it on deer and pigs .Im from Australia and was just wondering if any one knew much about this model in the States??

Great little gun offered in both carbine and rifle. It was chambered in 30-30 and 35 Remington. It was Savages answer to the model 94. MIKE.

I think it's a Model 170 (not 130) pretty neat guns.  I'd like one in 35 Remington, myself.

I think the Remington Model 760 rings would fit it, if you wanted to mount a scope.  I'd double check, though, as I'm not 100% positive.

its definatly has model 130B stamped on the top of the barrel . Maybe the model numbers are different in Australia??
Or there is something different between the 130 and the 170?

Interesting, I guess they could have a different model number Down Under, but never saw that Number in my gun books.  Very cool.
