I have collected a several hundred .44 mag hot shot capsules over the years and I'm now ready to start using them.
My questions start with, do the cases need to be fully resized, what primer should I use, how do I "bell the mouth" of each case to faciliate easy loading of the capsule, how much of a crip should I use?

Thanks for any help. If you can't tell I have never reloaded before.

They load pretty much like pistol bullets. There will be a die in the set that bells the mouth. I believe speer also recommends small shot like #9 for these, and they have suggested loads. It's a pretty straightforward operation. Buy a reloading manual and read the 'getting started' post in this section.

I have a old reloading booklet from TC, back when TC first came out with the super 14 contender. This booklet has reloading info for the 357 and 44 hot shot cartridges. The info TC gives is to full length resize, bell mouth slighty, charge case, seat capsule in seating die and crimp maximum amount using RCBS crimp die. Recommended loads are 5/8 oz. shot (does not say what size shot), large pistol primer (Win. or Rem.), case (Win. or Rem.), powder Hercules (Alliant) Bullseye 7.0 grs. to 8.0 grs. for a velocity of 1129 f.p.s. to 1218 f.p.s. with the 8.0 gr. load being the recommended load. I also have an older booklet from 1985 that has info using DuPont (IMR) Hi-Skor 700x powder in the amount of 10.5 grs. with 5/8 oz. shot Win. case and primer. I have used these loads myself with good results. Hope this is of some help. This info is for the .44 Hot Shot.
