why did marlin discontinue the marlin 1895RL in .475linebaugh/.480 ruger?

does anyone know of any company that will convert a marlin 1895 to either .475 linebaugh or .500 linebaugh?

i would like to have a nice revolver/levergun combo

they never actually made it. It was advertised but never produced. Dave clements should be able to convert one to either caliber. It wont be cheap though.
