.311-.312 Bullets In .308 Bore?

I'd like to try one of those chamber adapters that let you use a .32 ACP in a .30-06, but I'm concerned that the .32 uses larger bullets.  Robert

You'll be fine using the .312" in your .30-06 from a .32 ACP. The only problem would be either using .312" bullets in a .30-06 case with the same max or near max loads for .308" bullets, or that they would not even chamber if the .30-06 chamber were tight. Otherwise the amount of difference is minimal; now accuracy is a whole other topic, but strictly speaking safety, there will be no problem.

I use one of those adapters in one of my combi's from time to time...  I handload the 32ACP cases and here's a target showing the accuracy i get..  I don't think the accuracy is all that bad considering it's a pistol round shot in a rifle chamber and bbl..
