Is the new 45 LC on the same rifle as the Buffalo classic? As in if a guy gets the 45 LC when its available will it be compatible with the 45-70 BC. Maybe this is a silly question.

The 45 Colt BC is already available, both as a rifle and an accessory barrel, the only difference is the forend is shorter as far as the frame and stock are concerned.

HOLY COW !!!!!!!! My wife just stopped uptown at the gun shop and they told her that my 45 LC BC is here !!!!!. I told them to get one as soon as they could and its here. I won't get to go down and look at it for several days as I will be out of town. I don't know why this one is such a big deal, it just stirred my fires.
. Hope to have a report on it soon. I have several guns waiting for decent range weather to be shot for the first time.
