Just ordered my first Handi Rifle

Actually I ordered it yesterday, it should be here tomorrow. :) I got a SS/Syn in .223 for popping PD's. I was wondering what you guys are using for scopes. I am going to take the Tasco Varmint off of my .308 for now. After that I'll decide which gun gets the new scope.

I'd also like to say thanks for all the info stockpiled here. I heard about this board on another board and jumped over to see what was up. I'm impressed and I think I'll hang out for a while if Y'all don't mind.

Welcome to the forum. You bought yourself a real tack driver. You will enjoy it very much. You could put a Bushnell Banner 6x18x50 on it for a little over $100.00.

Welcome aboard , were glad to have you here , as far as scopes everything from a Bushnell Banner 3x9 to a Barska 6x24 have been on my 223BB with the same results , the rifle shoots better than i do .  ;)  ;D

welcome aboard scootter. you will find a lot of good info here and really good people.

be careful, the handi bug is quite contagious!
and the only cure is to buy more handis!!

I am a gun nut in general. I own S&W's, Marlins, Rugers, a Taurus, Savages, Winchesters...

I had never really considered a Handy Rifle until last week when I decided the .308 was to expencive to shoot PD's with. Since there is a baby on the way anyday now I figured I'd better not go overboard. I heard good stuff about the HR so I figured I'd pick one up. Hopefully this weekend we'll see how it shoots.
