Howdy Three-08..

Welcome to GBO. I'm a new Savage owner too with a 10FP 308...I haven't got to shoot mine at all yet due to technical difficulties :-[

Welcome. They are an awesome rifle for the price. There are quite a few of us Stevens 223 owners on the board. Read some of the other posts and let us know how you are making out. What loads, bullets, glass etc...

Thanks everyone, my experience with the  Stevens 200 is looking very bright, is the 1st 223 i have owned and is a delight to shoot, so far i have only been able to fire 2 different loads in the gun and that was the 55 grain UMC metal case which i used to site the gun in with, i was limited to range space at the time and only done the initial site in at 50 yards, my 1st shot was 3" to the right and 2" high so i adjusted accordingly  and the next 4 shots were right on, i then loaded 5 of the 60 grain soft points of Black Hills ammo and they all hit the bullseye (dime size) 4 of the rounds were touching and the other was only maybe 1/8" off. I now got to get some more range space so i can play at 100 yards or more. I bought a box of Winchester 64 grain soft points to try as well, as these and the 60 grain i will be using a lot of.
