Starting on Beaver
« on: March 31, 2007, 05:19:43 PM »
Ice for the most part has left us,though ice out on the northern lakes I trap, is still a ways off.
Mike Tucker and I ,started doing some beaver yesterday.Several inches of rain, and frozen shorelines have slowed things in the setting department. Also the flooding of the Rivers and creeks has  kept us from proceeding full bore.
If things settle down, we should be going strong within a few days.

Have at em tom.

I doesnt look like I am going to catch a one this spring.

I was fishing when I should have been trapping last week and this cold has shut it down now.

I hadnt planned on trapping until the lakes busted open but I will have to go to work for that.

Its going to be like last year again.  When it goes its going to go fast.
