Superlight Handi's
« on: April 02, 2007, 10:52:48 PM »
I have been looking to buy a 22 Hornet Superlight. What I am wondering is if the standard or bull barrel contours will fit in this forend? Thanks ahead of time for any info.

I too have found that H&R has more than one barrel channel in the forarms , the stocks that i put on my 243 SL will not fit the standard or bull barrels that i have .

I do believe that H&R must use more than one size forend on their Superlights since many folks have used standard and even bull barrels on their Superlights with the original Superlight forend. Since H&R has a habit of installing the wrong front sights occasionally, they may do the same thing with forends, put standard forends on when they run out of Superlight forends?  ???

Yes the superlight forend is different as I had to get a different forend for my 45-70 barrel with a wider channel,

Thanks for the info. If I decide to order more barrels I can just order another fore end as well
