« on: April 05, 2007, 04:57:59 PM »
what brass do you use to build the max ammo? And what do you have to do to it ?.I have not started to reload yet but just about got all the tools togeather now to set up a reloading I am probly gonna start with 357 mag then .204 and 300 win mag after I shoot this last box of store bought.I have been reading the lyman ,sierra,PO Ackley,Hornaday manuals but have just been concentrating on the how to and how not to stuff so far and not paid much attention yet to the specific loads but I'm gettin close . Thanks Kurt

To the best of my knowledge there is no case that can be used to make a 357 maximum case without reducing a case that is too big in diameter and cutting down the rim. If you ever find one that is more popular than the maximum case let us know. The cases are still reasonable and you can even find new loaded ammo once in a while.

Hodgdon, Lyman, Speer, Sierra, Hornady = reliable resources
so and so's pages on the internet = not reliable resources
Alway check loads you find on the internet against manuals.
NEVER exceed maximum listed loads.

Bullseye sells Dan Wesson 357Max ammo, and  GBO sponsor Reed's Ammunition, sells Max ammo also. ;)
