Buffalo Classic
« on: April 05, 2007, 05:17:21 AM »
I have one on order that should be here next Tuesday. After I get it and shoot it for awhile I am planing to send it back to have more barrels fit to it, the question is what barrels can I put on the Buffalo Classic frame?  I was thinking I would want the 38/55 target and a .308 is this possible.?
I have no experience with single shot rifles at all, just changed my interest from simi-auto to bolt/single and am having fun with them.
What started this is an old 1866/74 French GRAS that I stumbled on at a gunshow, took me five weeks to figure out what to load and shoot it with. Never had as much fun in my life and I am old.

Welcome Freightman. Check under the FAQs about the difference in rifle and shotgun receivers.
A quick run down. Your BC receiver will be a centerfire rifle receiver...SB-2 these can be fitted with almost every barrel they offer with the exception of the 10ga and 12ga UltraSlughunter barrels.
So you are good to go 8)
