Ruger .358 winchester again ?
« on: July 01, 2007, 01:07:05 PM »
Dealer told me Ruger was making the .358 win again. but only in stainless synthetic or a laminate stock. I can't find a picture or price of the Laminate stock .358. Can anyone help me out ? I went to the Ruger website, no help.

Haven't heard that.  Going along with most "shop talk" I'd have doubts but w/ Ruger anything's possible.  The .338 federal is a chambering for them now.

The .338 Federal is chambered in both laminated and synthetic stocks - but no .358.

Unfortunately, many (dealers included) confuse the .338 Fed with the .358 Win - especially since they are so visually/physically similar in appearance. The performance is close, too.
