I shot my .223 yesterday
« on: April 06, 2007, 04:19:12 AM »
It needs a trigger job BAD!!!!! It's crisp but I bet it's 10 pounds if it's an ounce :-\. I'm no gunsmith so now I have to find one. I did get it on paper with some UMC FMJ's I picked up yesterday. I shot 18 rounds through it. They patterened more than grouped, but I wasn't shooting well yesterday either. I'm headed to work in a minute and I'm hoping to shoot it sometime today.

The little rifle seems like it'll do alright. I still wish they had more barrel options :'(

Trust me , the more you shoot it the better it will get , also try some diffrent ammo , with my hand loads i get 1/2" @100 all day , with the Rem green box its about 3/4" .

It may take 50 to 100 rounds before it comes around , mine did it in about 25 .

I figure it'll "Shoot in" as I get more rounds through it and tune some ammo. I did okay yesterday other than the trigger. After I get that fixed it'll be easier to do some tuning and PD shooting.

A good trigger job is everything. The local gun smith here charged me $25.00
