3-Screw vs. New Model - Single Six accuracy comparison
« on: April 07, 2007, 01:21:06 PM »
Ok all you Ruger Single Six shooters, I'm looking for a little guidance.

Of all the Single Sixes you had the chance to shoot, which ones are more accurate?

I've owned 1 new model & 1 old model 3-screw, and it's relatively close accuracy wise (both adj.sites & 5 1/2" barrels).
Recently I located 2 Single Sixes for sale: 1 is a 3 screw blued, the other is a new model stainless (both adj. sites & 6 1/2" barrels
The price is close enough that it don't matter, I just want the one that is 'most likely' to be the most accurate!
(Currently the option of buying them both and keeping the most accurate one is not an option)

Any input, votes, experience from all the people here would be appreciated!
Thank you,
Del
