the hunts Promise
« on: May 11, 2007, 07:19:06 AM »
The night was icy cold I stood along
I was waiting for the nightly raccoon  patrol
And when at last they came into my sight
I squeezed the trigger of my H&R

Oh mama, oh mama comfort me
For I know these awful things have got to die
But when the war for freedom has been won
I promise you I'll put away my gun.

A shot rang out, I heard a coon cry
"Oh please don't leave me here alone to die"
I realized his patrol had run away
And left their wounded comrade for me to slay.

"There's nothing in this world I would not do
If there's mercy in your heart you'll let me live"
And in his eyes I saw a look of pain
As the mussel of my gun moved towards his brain.

The dawn was breaking as I reached my base
I will not forget the look on that coons face
Fear, agony, and torment where all there
Oh but to your memory, mother, his life i took. these LYRICS are from the Irish Rebel Song - Sniper's Promise. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMK74QQp8M8)

i got the other 2 coons that had got away. One was up a tree and i drop him with a head shot and the other was trying to swim for it but i shot him in the spine and he die in the water. I also got out my crosman 766 and kill a few black rats. It's very smokes now because of the Forest fire that are going so there no hunting tell Monday. these coons had been in my trash and i was piss at the noise and mess they made so my gun was to put a end to them.

I'm just an old predator caller almost ready to retire from the sport after 43 plus years of chasing critters across the southwest. I've seen alot of different things happen in this sport over the years, but I've never seen anything like what I just read, what is it supposed to mean?  ??? :-\

there were 3 coons that kept getting my trash and i waited for them one night and shot one and the other 2 ran for it and i shot the first one in the head and moved on to the other 2. One i got up and a tree and shot it and the other one was trying to swim away and i shot him in the water. also that night i killed some rats with my airgun. there been a forest fire burning for the past week and when we get a north wind the smoke is all over the place so the fishing and hunting has stop. I used  LYRICS from the Irish Rebel Song - Sniper's Promise too make my story sound better.
