I've been on those for a few years now. Some interesting topics com up. Some of the guys know their stuff and are helpful, although most of it deals with aluminum melting/casting.

DD, I have seen this site before and it is not the place to learn metal casting. There are a lot of other sites that have good information on casting but a person needs to know a little about the subject so he can sort out the good stuff from the bad. I recommend that anyone wanting to get into casting start first with a good book on the subject and I think one of the best for the beginner is the United States Navy Foundry Manual, sold by Budget Casting and Centaur Forge.
