I asked about the Simmons 44MAG 6.5 X20, got some interesting answers, then bought a Tasco 6X24 40MM AO Target Turrets for $80. I couldn't escape. It looks good, on a pillow on my table , looking at those golfers across the way.
My use is on a Savage 12BVSS 223 shooting cast.
I almost know about Burris Signature Z rings that don't mark the scope tube, fit a weaver base, and have adjustment shim things.
Is that right?
I need rings with allen or torx screws, hate the slot kind.
Please tell me what I need to buy to get this Tasco scope on the Savage 12BVSS.
$80? If it doesn't work I'll sell it and buy a T36 Weaver.
