The addiction really starts when you buy reloading equipment for the barrels you don't even have yet, or get a good buy on bullets that you will feel obligated to buy a barrel or rifle to shoot em in!! Just ask me how I know!!!

One more barrel is NOT a cure, I got so bad I had dies 20 years before I got the barrel.
I am still not cured, Don't want to be. But I am not as bad as Quick and a few others here.

Quick's gun room reminds me of that bunker in the old "Tremors" movie.
The character's name was "Burt", I think.
His wife was played by Reba McEntire.
Quick, do you have a red head in your life, by chance?

Why didn't anyone warn me about this when I first joined this site? :) I didn't see it at first, I ordered my first last week (still waiting) for my daughter and I'm already looking for another one for dad!!! ;D

I think you guys should really put a warning in the FAQ's about this!!! ;D

Not anymore thank goodness, my first wife was a redhead. :'(

Barry, I believe there were warnings about it, most everyone gets warned at least once, but usually after it's too late!!! ;D

Ya i'm alright , got the 218 Bee dies from e-bay 6 months before i sent the barrel away to be re-chambered , also have a set of 17 Rem dies , bullets and brass and no 17 barrel yet . got test rounds loaded for a 308 barrel that i don't have yet either .

Spent the last 3 days refinishing another set of stocks for a rifle that i don't have all the parts for yet .

I'll be ok i'm sure .  ;D

I could quit any time I want to. I am sure I could. Well pretty sure anyway, I think, I most likely would have no problem. No shakes , no with drawl, No night sweats. I just don't want to quit yet. Not really anyway. I don't think.  I could never get as bad as Quick. I don't think. :-\

Well I guess I am still fine. OK, so I have loaded 50 rounds for two barrels I don't have yet, but they should be here in a month or so. I must not be addicted. After all I didn't buy the dies yet for the .357 that I am thinking of getting.

shudder, shiver, twitch.

It's only an addiction if you can't afford it......if you can afford it, its a hobby!

That's a good way to put it Roudy, Do you think that you could call some of our wives and explain that to them? ;D For some reason, unfortunately, I don't think they see it like that.

Dies and no rifle, I have molds and no rifle, loaded a bunch of 270 rounds because there was some bullets and brass with a trade I did still do not have a rifle YET! Got some 7mm mag dies, 45 Colt dies 44/40 dies no rifle YET! does this qualify as obsessed?
Already filled out the order form for four more barrels and haven't saved the money yet, seems to me that it is a hobby as I work part time for a FFL so I can have guns, powder (ordered 70#) and molds. I am retired and my friend that retired about the same time is already gone. Sit down in front of a TV and didn't get up until he died. Rather wear out as rust out. That is a good selling point for my addiction gun will save my life!!!
