Took a stainless 22-250 out for the first time this weekend, talk about love at first shot! As this was purchased as a coyote gun, the trigger is set at less than 2# and chambered for what I think is the perfect cartridge for my part of the country. I put what I thought would be a good match for the rifle, only to find out , not so much. The scope is a Weaver 44/40, 3-9 with ballistic drop lines under the crosshairs. Will find other rifles to mount the 2 I bought on, the crosshairs are just to thick for this rifle. In spite of this, I was able to pull a 3 shot group at 200 yd ( 203.5yd on the rangerfinder) that measured 1 3/8 inchs in a nice triangle. This was using Winchester 40gr HP factory ammo. This will give me something to shoot for when I start reloading this cartridge. DP
