I don't usually bump into this until about 35 yards, but we shoot .177 guns.

I've placed a shim in the rcope ring made from milk jug material.   One problem is that it will compress somewhat for the first week it's in there.  then it stabilizes.

The best solution for this problem (its called barrel droop- the barrel is angled slightly downward from the line of the receiver, almost every spring gun made has some degree of it) is adjustable scope rings. However, a good set costs about $60. Bending the barrel upwards slightly is also a viable solution.

Buy yourself an RWS C-Mount. Worth every penny, and Tough. I had the exact same problem on my RWS Diana. I couldn't seem to get the pellet high enough, even at 20 feet. This thing did the job. It should cost around $49.
Go out and get yourself a Concealed Weapons License. I did. :gun4:

Try bending the barrel up or use some shims on the scope rings.  Although an adjustable scope mount would be a better solution, that gun+scope doesn't worth the cost.
