LAR Grizzly .50 cal rifle.....anyone have one or know much about em?

Co-worker will be selling a mint condition LAR Grizzly .50 cal, press, dies, etc etc soon. He's putting a price on it for me so don't have one yet.  I know zero about these guns, haven't had too much time to surf the net as of yet. Anyone have one? Had one? Know anyone that did or does???

He swears it shoots to well under half minute of angle with proper handloads. I have no reason to disbelieve him.

Just curious to get any feedback if anyone knows anything.

My buddy had one and I shot it along with my 50 BMG's I use to own. It was a very accurate gun and a blast to shoot. Reloading is very easy, but expensive.  Lots of powder and primers are expensive. What kind of price is your buddy looking for?

He was gone today and hopefully back tomorrow, so I'll ask him.

I did ask another person who works for me about them and learned quite a bit about Barrett rifles......and stumbled into quite the shooting range to shoot at but that is another story......so far no one knows too much about the LAR lineup.

I'll keep looking........

Found the LAR site, pretty interesting!   Hoping to get more hands on info though...

Computer acting weird, so if funny stuff pops up I apologize.....

I have one and like it very much.  You will get about 200fps more velocity from its 36" bbl over the Armalite or Barrett rifles.  Using my pet load under a 750gr AMAX I regularly get 7-8" at our 1,000yd range.  Good rifle.
