newbie help please!!!

a received my cannon today and want to start shooting golf ball as well as blanks. any help would be great on charges and loading proceedures. i did manage to fire a couple of blanks shots today and have posted photos. i used 200 grains of ff black powder in tin foil with a newspaper wad, thanks glenn

Glenn, Check The American Artillery Association's website for their loading and firing procedures.  They are for full size cannons, but they work as well for small stuff. THey are listed above in the "where to find" post. Also there is a Switlik powder to bore Chart that is posted above. It's listed under "Safe Loads and cannon Plans"   Dom

Aaahhhhhh the smell of sulpher in the air!

And on your hands even after the 5th washing!

Looks like you've got some brush to clear, might want to pick up another dozen golf balls!

Note that things fired from cannons into trees DO bounce, sometimes several times.
