Hard case for T/C

What do y'all recommend for a good hard case for airline travel? I want something very sturdy but small enough to put in a suitcase after it's been inspected. Last year I got hit with the surplus baggage fee of $80. I like the pelican cases but their gun cases are too long.

I use an SKB four pistol case.  It holds most of my tc stuff with room to spare.  Costs about 45-60 bucks.  I can't remember how much I paid.  It would fit in another suitcase.  Daniel
