I don't do in-lines ,but I'll tell ya what I seen. 2 men showed up at the range one day, (last year) Father and son-in-law. They was goin out-state to hunt, thay had both bought Encore, one blue the other stainless. Spankin new. 50's the both, both usin power belts',both usin pellets. Big spendy scopes. (pulled up in a big new truck too)
After an hour, and 20 or so shot's(normal)the blued gun was making one hole at 50, the stainless was still about 6".(at 50!) Both the gent's seemed ta know what they was doin.
I don't know if they was competing or what! but the blued was a shooter.
That's all I know about that.

I would bet that the guy with the blued rifle was just a better shooter. I've never heard of there being a difference in accuracy potential between blued and stainless. Which ever kind you decide on, T/C makes good barrels.

A 6" group at 50 yards seems pretty darn big.  I would have to think there was a problem with that gun.  Hell I can do better with my S&W five shot 38.

SS all the way.

I have a T/C Black Diamond in SS, and it shoots 2" groups at 100 yards with 2 50 grain Pyrodex pellets pushing a 240 grain Hornady XTP in a T/C Mag sabot.

If I can buy a gun in stainless, I buy it in stainless; I'll take any help I can get in the fight against corrosion.

I suspect that the actual color of the gun had nothing to do with the difference...the different working characteristics of the two different steels was probably at the root of the problem...
