Ready to make that BIG purchase!
« on: November 17, 2003, 07:53:30 PM »
OK guys...I'm ready to make to take the next step!

Been shooting .22 bullseye with a tricked-out Ruger Govt, for over a year now...and I've saved my beans to purchase a Hammerli, Pardini or S&W Model 41.  Guys are shooting all three at the range...everyone likes whatever he owns.  BTW, I have NO problems with the Ruger but it gets a bit heavy over time.  It's a good gun...my heirs will love it.

Really like the feel of the Pardini...but I am leaning towards the Model 41.   The Model 41 just seems like a more substantial firearm in the long run...but I doubt if anyone has ever worn out a Hammerli or Pardini.  Hard to tell which pistol really fits me best, until I get a grip on one that will fit my hand.

Your thoughts please!

Thanks in advance!  ...Chris    :D

Chris:

Try posting this on the target talk at www.pilkguns.com or at the bullseye L-forum at www.bullseyepistol.com.  There are more precision shooters there.  My own opinion is that the model 41 is a piece of junk compared to the Pardini, particularly the variation sold by Don Nygord as the bullseye master.
