Glock Overmolded Front Sight
« on: February 15, 2007, 06:51:16 PM »
These are the same sights Smith and Wesson is using, Hi-Viz, which means my Glocks and revolvers will have basically the same sight picture.  I just thought I would pass it on.  MV out!

Here are some pics of the standard sight.  My photography skills are not that great.  MV out!

Only problem I see with it is you can see it from both ends.  Maybe not a good idea on a defensive handgun in the dark.

Specops,
The sight is a fiber optic. It only gathers ambient light. If you see the front of that sight, you'll be seeing a lot more than the sight!

I have one on the front sight of my Winchester Trapper 44 Mag and I can still see it when it's too dark to shoot.  Anything that stands out can give your position away or pinpoint your location and orientation.

Specops,
Doesn't work that way with mine.

Back light.

Low light.
