Who has tried the VX-L? Thinking of a 3.5X10 for a Model 7 but not sure if it will balance well. May be too heavy. I can always switch scopes from another rifle. I've never owned (in the last 25 yr) a scope except Leupold. Have about a dozen but am willing to listen to others who favor something else.
