shot my 357 today
« on: April 29, 2007, 04:29:01 AM »
I replaced the scope on my .357 today. put a Pentax gameseeker  1.75x x 5 x 20 on it.It only took 4 clicks both ways to get it on target. It has a ballistic plex, and is very clear. This rifle is always very fun to shoot and very accurate.I can keep 10 plus shots on a small bore rifle target at 75 yards.Thats with Remington 38 special+p+ wally world specials.   After fighting my 17 Hmr all day,I needed to shoot something that was accurate.I sent my sportster frame off over a year ago for the 17 barrel, and it just wont shoot.I have shot 5 boxes of ammo through it and I can't get 2 inch group out of it to save my life.I have tried everything short of changing scopes.I am going to try that, and if that dosen't work I will probably sell the barrell.

Always fun to shoot an accurate firearm isn't it?  ;D
Sorry to hear about your problems with the 17. Is there any nicks around the crown or side to side play with the barrel?
