New Trade Gun

Haven't been around GBO much for a while, been busy working on the Trade Gun.  Maple stock with hand rubbed finish, 42" barrel.  Gun weighs in at just 7 pounds.  Need to find time now to get out and do some shooting.

Nice!!! Thanks for sharing, makes me want one again, of all the muzzleloaders I've owned over the years, my trade gun was my favorite!! :)

I like Trade Guns as well.   This one's a .62 Caliber smoothbore.  Shot or round ball, one gun for all game.   :)

That's what mine was too!! If I had to make a choice tween all traditional type arms and shooting them, first pick would be a trade gun! Mine was a true "trade" gun since I traded a Hatfield for it and a coffee can full of .600" balls!! ;D That got me into trade gun matches at rendezvous and a real hoot of fun for about 10yrs, them was shinin times!! ;)
