The 500 s&w took another victim this weekend
« on: April 30, 2007, 01:13:46 AM »
Well took the 500 to the range this weekend with a few other guns. A buddy of mine came with me to do a little shooting as well. after 35 round of 308s i sprung the 500 on him. his shoulder was a little sore buy now anyways. still bone stock 500 i gave it to him and stood back a little. he laid it on the bench and let it roar. The look on his face was priceless. the 500 kicked clean off the rest to the right and set him straight up. I laughed till i had tears flowing. " Holy cow" is the nice way of saying what he muttered. We had fun shooting a laughing at each other. I need to get a scope for it though. can't shoot open sights anymore. He said if they had one at the gun shop he would buy it today! Just wanted to share this with you handi guys.

How was it grouping? What range were you shooting at?
The quality of a mans life is in direct proportion to his commitment to excellence.

A bad day at the range is better than a good day at work!!

Buck shot at 35yrds would have been tighter. It wasn't shooting that great. but i am not worried to much until i get my reloading supply for it and a good scope
