looking for some leather

want to make a sheath for a big bowie type knife , nothing fancy or to  $$$ , any good places to get some like this?

www.tandyleatherfactory.com  usually has a pretty good selection of leathers, some pretty cheap bellies and such.  You might be able to get away with some end cuts, if you ask them the average, and largest sizes of those cuts.

Jantz Supply has 8-9 oz. leather available. 12"x12" is $9.95 12"x24" is $18.95. This as reasonably priced as any good quality tooling leather I've found. I have used some of it and it tools just as well as Herman's Oak which is supposed to be the best available.

Thanks , it looks like I will be able to get what I need , I had thought of making the sheath with the pvc as the inside part covered by leather , but think I will just be going with leather only
