Any ideas on what a 22/45 is worth?
« on: May 16, 2003, 03:21:17 AM »
I am thinking of buying another Contender and need to sell a 22/45 to get the cash.  I was just wondering what they are going for now days.  Mine has seen heavy use by my boys when they go out and shoot silhouettes with me but the blueing is 100% and the gun is in exellent condiction.  It has been tapped for a weaver scope mount and the mount is included.  I still have the box and all the manuals and even a lock with a Ruger logo on it.

Don't make any offers.  This post is just to find out what this gun is worth.

Thanks, Sixgun
You can only hit the target if the barrel is pointed in the right direction when the bullet leaves the barrel.

Sixgun:  If your 22/45 is in 90% condition as it could be $135 per the blue book goes to a 100% $195 hope that gives you something to go on good luck on your new purchase. :D   JIM

I just bought a branny-spankin new one today for $185, if it's any help. That one's a blue, 5" with adjustable sights that will be the foundation of a bullseye project.
