Don't know about his rifles, but his BRM series of cartridges are essentially variations of the 30-30 AI or the 7-30 Waters, etc.

Seems I read somewhere the rifles were pretty good, but very similar to the TC lineup.  Not sure about barrel availability though.
God, Family, and guns, in that order!

Canon,

Try a search. Guys ask about these fairly often and there have been past discussions. I have one. It's a very nice rifle. Great trigger, premium lapped match barrel.  To me, it's not very similar to a TC. It's much smaller and a falling block. Barrels just screw into the receiver, so you could rebarrel one with any brand of barrel you want. 6.5 BRM is about 300 fps slower than a 260.

I had EABCO rebarrel a Ruger #3 to 6.5 BRM. The wait was over one year. It shoots ok but I would not do it again. The cases are difficult to make from 30-30 brass so you must buy them from EABCO...$40.00 per 50. And, even with moderate loads they stretch and the necks split. I'm going to rechamber the rifle to 6.5-284.

I have the model 97d in 6.5 brm, and have been very pleased with the gun.  I had to wait about 3 months to get the standard model, but that was at the very beginning of the "standard" and I can't say how long it would take now.  I just checked the eabco.com website to be sure, but the cost of brass is $40 per 100 (not 50 as mentioned in the previous).  I have reloaded mine about 5 times with no indication of failure.  I really wanted to get into reloading, so I bought a wildcat.... one might say that is backward logic.... I won't argue that.  I don't have any complaints about the cartridge... easy to reload.  Is it the best use of the 6.5 caliber... I'm not the one to say.  Would I buy the gun again... yep!  It is a very nice firearm.  The only caution I would share is that this is a very compact rifle.... I'd even say small.  Mine fits me perfect.

     OnAim...you are correct, 100 not 50 cases for $40.

Do you FL resize (as EABCO recommends) or just size necks? I've tried both and found full length resizing is necessary for my chamber as the thin 30-30 cases really take a beating with the higher pressures. I've never exceeded the published loads using N150 and N160 but still have very short case life. I have not fired the gun for quite a while but I believe I was getting around 2400fps with 140g bullets in a 26" barrel.
Could you share some of your loads; velocities, barrel length, bullets, etcl?

posssum... I have only used one of the loads recommended on the EABCO site.  I use the H4831SC loaded and 140gr AMax bullet.  I started at 38g and worked up to 39.5, but my normal load is 39.2g.  I full length size and trim after each use.  Not sure the trimming is needed, but since the cases have had different histories (primarily different loads) I trim to keep them all the same.  I've been meaning to call EABCO for a recommendation for trimming and also a 120 gr load.  I hear alot of people speak highly of the VV powders, but have never seen any in the shops where I buy powder (pretty much just IMR, Hodgdon, and Winchester).  When I called to ask when to expect to replace the brass, the answer was I should be able to several reloads (he said a number, but I don't recall).  I don't have a chrony, so can't comment on velocity (maybe Christmas!!!).
