Of the top six prez candidates...
« on: May 02, 2007, 07:12:12 PM »
Of the top six candidates running for the office of president..Clinton, Edwards & Obama for the Dems  ...and Guliani, McCain & Romney for the Reps...

How many, by the Democrats own criteria during the last presidential campaign...even have any right to be running at all ?

   Give up ?

Answer: just one of the whole group (gang of six?)

Who is that ?...  The answer is John McCain...the rest are, according to the Democrats own standards during the last election, unfit to run !

No room for debate about it either..

Remember..Only combat veterans need apply !  Even National guard service was not good enough !

Now...I am not too enthused by McCain either...but perhaps Duncan Hunter (R-Ca) could run..since he was a member of the 173rd Airborne & 75th Army Rangers in Vietnam and his son is presently a Spec ops Marine serving in Iraq .

Therefore, by the Democrats own standards..he should be a cinch to win ! ...Maybe they would vote for him !..LOL

So where do you stand Democrats..Were you blowing smoke then..or are you blowing smoke now ?
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

Ron Paul certainly isn't one of the top 6, nor is he the most polished speaker, but he would make the best president out of the whole group.  He is the only one who really believes that the government is supposed to be one of enumerated powers-that is, if the Constitution doesn't affirmatively give the govt a certain power then it doesn't have it.  His opinions, which most closely resemble those of the founders, are today considered radical.  What a shame.
