Is it to late

    I have been thinking about annealing  brass. They have at least 2-3 rounds already shot through them. Is it to late or woth the effort.
     The brass is both .243 and .270.  Thanks, TVC15

For common easy to find  and inexpensive cases, such as 243 and 270. I feel that annealing just isn't justifiable. When a 22-250 case gets tired I just chuck it and buy more.

I agree.  Too much trouble.  On a good day, at a public range, when the box a year guys are sighting in their deer rifles, you can pick up enough 1x stuff to last a life time.

I'm gona go with krochus here , at this point you may get 1 or 2 extra loadings from the cases but not enough life to warrent the extra work involved .

Load them till they show signs of failing , then pitch them and buy new , depending on how hot they have been loaded , you should get at least 3 or 4 more loadings from these cases , maybe more .

don't just "pitch them" into the trash can! save up a couple gallons of brass ,then take it to the local recycle / junk yard. That old brass will pay for SOME new stuff. I got $28 and change for about 2 gallons  of  rimfire sweep ups.
