I just picked up my Hi Wall in 45/70 (Taylor & Co.) and I am putting a vernier tang sight on it. I want to remove the rear sight from the barrel and I am wondering if anyone knows of a source for pre made dovetailed plugs that I can put in to replace the rear sight. I know a gunsmith can make me one pretty easily, but it would be easier if someone just made pre-blued plugs I could mailorder and pop in. Thanks in advance.
