This is a long shot, but who here has one of these or has at least seen one in action?

I have a looooong gravel drive that needs attention from time to time, but before I blow $1200 on one, I thought I'd seek a review on the product.

That thing is a JOKE. Unless your drive is as soft as properly prepared garden soil it doesn't have the weight to do anything but bounce along the top of the drive. When I do mine I use a full blown tractor with a 4' wide box blade that weights perhaps 300 hundred pounds plus and has some pretty awesome teeth I can let down when needed. Believe me it's needed if I want to do much moving of the humps that develop. I just can't imagine that little light weight thing even scratching my driveway.

Good day to all. 379, have you ever tried a tire filled w/ concrete or a piece of railroad iron? a few passes with either levels and smooths pretty good. Both are far cheaper than $1200........Bill

I bought a grate, the kind you walk over to clean you shoes with the open air space below.  It came from a old school building, I paided $10.00 at a salvage yard.   Hooked a piece of chain to it and used a threaded link to tighten around the hitch ball on my ATV.  Then I put 3-large cement construction blocks on top and secured with some bungies.  Yup a real REDNECK special.  While it doesn't remove large humps in one pass it will do most of the light to medium grading work on my driveway.  Gets rid of most of those weeds too.  I have also found out that when you do this is very important.  Trying to grade when it is dryer than a Popcorn Fa#% is to much work.  Slighty moist, like 2 days after a rain helps alot.  This in no way a substitute for Greybeards rig just an inexpensive set up that does a pretty nice job.   Buckfever
