I'd like to know some of your views on this stange subject. To have a modicum of fairness to the hollow-earthers out there, much of what goes on in South/Central America is completely off the media radar screen here in Canada, I think the press give more coverage on South and Cental American topics in the southern 48, what do you think?

Me and my older brother who used to chum around with back then when we were kids, we loved anything to do with Sasquatches(bigfoot), and the writings of Erich Von Daniken.  Well unless some new technology comes around to find and/or map these caverns or tunnels from the surface, we'll never ever know what for certain what is down there in the what first 20 or so miles of crust they say we have before it turns to lava.

I can tell you what's down below 10,000 feet sub-surface - a totally uninhabitible Hades.  Temperatures range to 450*F+ at under 20,000 feet - I know because I have seen the temperature logs from many oil wells at those depths.  The pressure on the rock at that depth is so high that there are no voids over a few millimeters in diameter - any "caverns" that supposedly exist would close up immediately at pressures of over 20,000psi.

A 'hollow earth' was a fantasy designed to excite young boys who have done nothing in their lives of merit.  Once we become men most of us outgrow  the need to believe in such fantasy.

Interesting indeed... but it's awfully easy to make a legend out of something that has not, and cannot be thoroughly investigated.

Thanks Lone Star, didn't know that, so thanks for the info, but these 'tunnels' don't sound like they are nearly that deep.

Found this:

Wow,  :o temperatures are reaching 55 degrees Celcius without airconditioning to bring it down to 28 degrees Celcius, eye opening. :o

Does this mean I have to stop believing in Santa Claus?  :'(   ;D
