I just checked out the Sightron webpage and found what I think other manufactures should provide their customers.  The full dimensions of their scopes so the purchaser knows what he is getting.  While many manufactures provide the over all length they do not provide the vital mounting area dimension.  I recently found the “B” dimension to be critical after purchasing a scope of another brand.  I purchased the scope for as a replacement on a long action bolt.  The “B” dimension was to short and the scope went on another rifle.  But it resulted in two rifles having to be sighted in because it was not until I removed the old scope that I discover the error of my ways.  A visit to the Sightron page will detail the dimensions on a scope and will make more sense.
