Kudos again for NEF

Sent out a frame on 4/26 for a new .44 Mag barrel and the UPS man delivered it today.  Exactly three weeks to the day, including shipping both ways.  Outstanding! 

Kudos to NEF and also to the kind lady I spoke to when I called to let them know how pleased I am.

Make sure to slug your barrel and let us know what you find. Many are hoping that they have tightened the tolerances on these 44Mags.

Ditto what Aaron said and congrats!! We've been after folks to slug the bores of their new 44mags for a while now, so far only one person has accomodated us, it sure would be appreciated if you can do that for us, there are a bunch that would order one in a heart beat if they knew the bores were tighter.

Using the method from the 7.62X54r link, the sinker became very tight after approximately 3" in from the muzzle.  There may not have been enough grease after the sinker entered the muzzle ... a lot came off upon entry.  Being the first time I slugged a barrel, I didn't want to force the issue, so I tapped it back out.  I measured as instructed in the link and came up with .430.
