Value of a 375 super mag
« on: January 29, 2008, 11:17:38 AM »
Looking for an idea of what a fair price would be for a 375 super mag.  The gun is blued with a 6" barrel and is in very good condition.  The seller does not have the box or tools.  Any additional info about the 375 super mag loading data, etc. would be appreciated.

.375 in a 6"? not tools and no box you are looking at about 550-600 fair price. I'm not sure I'd want the 6" barrel and unfortunately you'll be hard pressed to find replacement barrels in 8" for the 375. DW does not have any. We sell loaded ammunition or it, and load data is available from both Hornady as well as Hogdon.

The tools are very hard to get.  I did not know that DW made the .375SM in a 6 inch barrel.

I expect the price to increase as Reeds Ammo now sells reasonably priced ammo for this caliber.

I made my wrench from the new door knob style wrench. I took a 44cal wrench the center post will pull out with some force and turned it down to the right diameter, the post is made out of a hard plastic.

I also think I know where another set of 375 dies are NIB. When I purchased my set from them they said that there was 5 left that they had made like 15 years ago just sitting on the shelf. PM me if you want the info I will find it for you.

C&H tools sells them; Better cost than Redding or Hornady It think they are asking 150.00ish C&H has them for about 72.00 as set, they are they same as the .375 USA

Same place I purchased mine from, I sent them an email inquiring about the dies and I think I had them in my hands in a little over a week, they were great people to deal with. and like Reed1911 says they were marked 375 USA.
allyn I never got a message or e-mail not sure why maybe it went to the spam folder I will look, but that is the link you need.
