Hornady Light Magnum Factory Ammo

Anyone out there using the light mags and if so what is your opinion of them and which bullet do you prefer and what caliber are you shooting?I'm thinking of switching to them and would like a head start before buying some and heading to the range.

They are the only thing I use in 7-08 and I use the 139 Interloct or whatever they call that original bullet. I've tried them in several other calibers and they all seem to be very accurate and faster than you can safely reload.

I use the 30/06 150gr, box says 3180 fps, my chrony says 3165, almost as fast as I load my 7mag w/140gr. Wacked 2 mulies, great penetration.

I shoot them in my 280 Mountain Rifle, as far as I am concern, I want even try to reload for my 280 becuase I could not get any better results. 100 yards I get less than 3/4'' group with 5 shots.  Can't fix it if it aint broke. I just bought a 7-08 and I am going to try them in it.

Well I made it to the range with a box of the light mags in 150grn 30-06 interloct.WOW
Upon getting my new scope sighted in with green box core loct to save money I dialed her in with the light mags.Last 2 three shot groups @ 100yds printed sub MOA.
NUFF SAID.
Will be hunting with them this year.
